SCS Trees Needs Your Vote On Our Woodstock Charity Scarecrow
At SCS Trees, giving back to our community is at the core of who we are. We were troubled to learn that, according to the Georgia Food Bank Association, food insecurity is an issue for 1 in 5 Georgia families. This is above the nationwide average of 15.8%.
We felt the need to do something about this unhappy reality; that is why we were excited for the opportunity for our own Shannon Biggers and the SCS team to be able to volunteer with Papa’s Pantry. This fantastic charity feeds hungry families and provides hope where it has often been lost. To learn more about how you can help Papa’s Pantry on their mission to end hunger in Georgia, visit their website at www.papaspantry.org or call their main office at 770-591-4730.
We are thrilled to be a part of the upcoming Woodstock Scarecrow Invasion in Downtown Woodstock with Papa’s Pantry. Our team created one of the scarecrows that will be displayed and judged during the event. This event raises money that will benefit the Woodstock community through entry fees and locals voting for their favorite scarecrows. Come out to downtown Woodstock and see all the scarecrows and make sure to vote for the best!
Thank you, Papa’s Pantry, for including SCS Trees’ volunteer team. We’re grateful for the chance to contribute to the Woodstock community and to join hands with such a worthy charity. We hope that this event is a great success and provides the opportunity for Papa’s Pantry to bring hope to many more households this coming holiday season.
